It’s that time of the year! Speculations and updates are starting strong so far this year for Halloween Horror Nights 31. Although, it may not be fully accurate, the projected houses provide great references to what we can expect. Here’s our top 3 list of rankings of what we find the most exciting!
- Universal’s Monsters The Mummy vs The Wolfman: In the past, HHN has done a remarkable job in creating houses based off their classic monsters. HHN 30 had Bride of Frankenstein which in our opinion dominated the lineup by creating an actual real life storyline and impressive character design. We would really love to see how Universal Creative would create the Mummy and if there would be any easter eggs from the 1999 film.
2. El Chupacabra: When it comes to original haunted houses, Universal Orlando has mark their standards in which the Chupacabra myth would be an intense take if done right. If El Chupacabra does make it to the official lineup, it would need the storyline to be cohesive, cultural elements to build ambience and the creature would need to frightening.
3. The Wicked Growth 2: HHN’s 30 Wicked Growth was an amazing house where the use of the pumpkins were spot on. The scare actors and their interactions really shaped the house. As long as the designers do not reuse much of last year’s props, it could potentially be another strong addition to the lineup.
